XYTIS has a robust and attractive CNS portfolio addressing significant unmet needs in the field of CNS disorders. Anatibant (XY2405), an inhibitor of Bradykinin B2 receptor, has completed a Phase IIa clinical study for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Neboglamine (XY2401), a selective norepinephrine re-uptake inhibitor, has completed several Phase I clinical studies. Xytis’ Alpha 7 Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor positive allosteric modulator (XY4083), has completed toxicology studies and an IND was approved by the FDA in November 2008. In addition, there are several pre-IND programs that are positive allosteric modulators of validated CNS drug targets, such as GABA_A (XY1029, XY2412, and XY2411).
